Create a SaaS offering for Tenjin to get customers.
This means a distinct site where a customer can create a new account on Tenjin (potentially with a limited feature set, with potential to contact sales for more features).
Main benefits:
Lowers barrier of entry for new customers.
Allows customers to find us rather than the other way round. Tenjin will sell itself while we sleep. Those customers can spread further word of mouth.
Allows us to get customer usage data that can drive future development priorities.
The SAAS version of Tenjin can be in addition to any white label versions. In fact a working SAAS version may increase larger customer's interest and faith in the product.
Easier to add new features/updates/fixes with a SAAS version that is running in our estate.
Competitors in this space have SAAS. We are not in the game unless we do too.
We have built it and it is good - so let the world use it.
