When we're using the Test Assistant functionality it can be easy to forget that we're testing as an authenticated user, whilst also being aware that there's an unauthenticated option; hidden in the More button and not immediately obvious.
Our assistant is hosted on a web page, which means all users by default are unauthenticated, therefore can we:
Ideally, ability to set whether the default for Test Assistant is unauthenticated or authenticated, dependent upon the customer's use case for the assistant?
Having this as part of the assistant creation process also makes it obvious you can switch. Some people didn't know this functionality existed in the More button!
With other helpful options being:
An "authenticated user" banner, similar to the "unauthenticated user" that already exists.
Ability to click the small banner to switch between the authenticated / unauthenticated states quickly.
Example screengrabs below showing how there is only a reminder of the current state for unauthenticated.
Language: "Unauthenticated mode" / "Authenticated mode" - need to make it clear this is Tenjin authentication and nothing to do with any other form of authentication; e.g. OAuth and ServiceNow.
ALTERNATIVE (probably better): "Tenjin User" / "Non-Tenjin User"
